My recent stay at Super 8 By Wyndham Childress was a mixed bag. the staff was super helpful, and the pool was a hit with my kid. the Wheat Artesian Bakery nearby is a must-visit for delicious treats. However, the room experience was marred by unwelcome critters, but the bed was comfy and the A/C worked well. the second stay was much better after upgrading to a room with functional A/C. the grab and go breakfast was a convenient touch. Despite some hiccups, the hotel's amenities and location near Baylor Lake make it a decent choice for exploring Childress.
